Team Coaching International (TCI), a global professional services firm dedicated to helping clients create and maintain high-performing teams and organizations, this week announced they had completed their first class of 75 Certified Team Performance Coaches.

As more and more organizations focus on teams to improve competitive performance, the need for qualified professionals with mastery in group coaching continues to grow. TCI is a global pioneer in this field with 20 years of coaching experience, team assessments, and skills training.

“Team Coaching is the fastest growing segment of the coaching profession. Our approach, used by thousands of organizations worldwide, delivers an average improvement of 20% in team performance scores”, says George Johnson CEO.

TCI’s Certification program has been approved for a total of 60 CCEs by the International Coach Federation.

“The certification program was designed by coaches, for coaches, using feedback from the experienced professionals we have trained over the last ten years,” says Phillip Sandahl, Chief Coaching Officer and coauthor of the best-selling, Co-Active Coaching: Changing Business. Transforming Lives.

“We have a mission and passion for teams—and a commitment to support coaches whether they work inside the organization or provide professional services to organizations,” says Alexis Phillips, COO.

Danny Valenzuela, one of the recent 75 CTPC graduates, said, “I have secured my second team coaching contract. It was made possible because of the excellent support you and your team at TCI provide. I do not think it would have been possible without the sample contracts and reports, workshops and training you provide. Thank you.”

TCI has trained more than 1,200 coaches from 45 countries. The proven tools for coaches include the Team Diagnostic™ in more than 20 languages—the flagship of a suite of four assessment tools for teams, team leaders and organizations.

Full Certification leading to CTPC includes three courses. The online introductory course, “Understand and Access the Tools” can be started anytime. The blended-learning course, “Accelerated Learning” begins with group calls in September. The 3-day, in-person “Master Class” schedule also begins in September.
